SATOKA ABE TEXTILEは、染織作家・安部里香によるテキスタイルブランドです。 ・・・ 伝統と実験をつなぐ、織物の新しいかたち。 縫取織をベースに、端材や廃材、植物までも織り込みながら、布を“ひらかれた工芸”として再解釈。JOMON BANGLEやステ耳チェアクッションなど、素材と技法を横断した作品を発表しています。 「手仕事」を通して、ものづくりの楽しさと奥行きをシェアするテキスタイルブランドです。 SATOKA ABE TEXTILE is a textile brand by textile craftsperson and designer Satoka Abe. Bridging tradition and experimentation, the brand explores new possibilities for weaving. Based on Nuitori-ori (ornamental weaving), Abe incorporates surplus threads, factory offcuts, and even plant materials into her work, reinterpreting textiles as an “open form of craft.” From pieces such as JOMON BANGLE to “Sute-Mimi” Chair Cushions, her work crosses materials, techniques, and disciplines while exploring new ways of making and using textiles. Through craftsmanship and handwork, SATOKA ABE TEXTILE shares the joy, depth, and possibilities of making with the everyday.
